On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Best regards, Christoph This is Oryxolaemus scabiosus. It is reported to develop in Calicotome (thorny broom) which is similar to ordinary brooms (Cytisus). Very nice. Best wishes, Michael

Request: Hallo, hier ist der richtige Name Altica Lythri? Die Länge von etwa 4-5 mm in Mischwald Stropkov - Slowakei Tag 2014.06.29.
Danke Jozef.
Species, family:
Altica brevicollis
Chrysomelidae
