On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 5.6.20, Diesen Otiorhynchus fand ich im nassen Gras. Er ist selber nass, weshalb Einzelheiten nicht so gut zu sehen sind, wohl aber die Borsten auf den Fld. (ich dachte schon an Otiorhynchus crataegi) Die Größe war etwa 6mm und ich fand ihn nah am Ufer des Ahrensees. LG Stefan

Request: Guten Morgen! Ich habe einen kniffligen Käfer und leider nur schlechte Fotos. Der Käfer hatte sich in einer Rosengalle versteckt. 1,1-1,2mm Beine hellbraun, glänzende Flügeldecken, die letzten 3 Fühlerglieder dicker. Nach Vergleich würde Cortinicara gibbosa passen. Aber es gibt bestimmt noch andere. Was meint ihr? Vielen Dank!
