On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: July 2020
Species, family:
cf. Ceutorhynchus sp.
Curculionidae
Comment: Hi Komarac, and welcome to kerbtier.de! Thank you for the pictures, a very cute little party of weevils :). They look like representatives of genus Ceutorhynchus to me. That's not absolutely certain as there are some others with the same shape, one needs to see them from close up. And then, some species within Ceutorhynchus are very similar to each other so they're difficult to tell apart in even the most detailed photographs. So unfortunately I can't go any further here. Sorry & Best wishes, Corinna
