hier nochmal eine Laufkäferlarve. Könnte es sein, dass es eine jüngere Larve von Calosoma sycophanta ist? Gefunden am 06.07.2020, im gleichen Gebiet mit der Schwammspinnerkalamität. Länge ca. 20 mm

Request: 7.7.2020, im Garten, Länge 8 mm, ist das nun "endlich" ein Lagria hirta? Gibt es vielleicht ein Unterscheidungsmerkmal zu L. atripes für Laien? Danke und LG!

Comment: Hallo sillu52, da gibt es sogar mehrere. Zum einen ist L. atripes eine frühe Art, L. hirta eine späte, wobei es aber eine Überlappung gibt. Im Mai ist es sicher atripes, Ende Juli hirta. atripes ist jetzt eigentlich durch, wir hatten nur mal eine einzige Meldung, die noch später war als der 7.7. Zweitens ist atripes 10-12 mm groß, hirta 7-10 mm. Und schließlich ist bei atripes der Halsschild ein bisschen kürzer als er breit ist, bei hirta ein bisschen länger. Das ist aber auch nicht immer ganz deutlich. Deine Fotos sind super und ich habe den Halsschild mehrfach gemessen, er ist jedenfalls nicht kürzer als breit. Zusammen mit der Größe und dem Zeitpunkt mache ich da jetzt mal Lagria hirta draus. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Jürgen
