On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Huhu! Im Friesheimer Busch, bei trübem Wetter und wenig Licht saß dieser tolle Käfer am Stamm einer Eiche. Leider kommt auf den Fotos gar nicht gut raus, wie beeindruckend das Tier war und wie Hornissig es aussah :). Plagionotus detritus, etwa 20mm lang, gefunden am 04.07.2020. Liebe Grüße und besonderen Dank an Coloniensis :).
