On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo liebes Käferteam, 08.07.2020, BW, Philippsburg, auf trockenem Brennholz (müsste Esche sein) paarten sich diese beiden. Nachdem ich mich bereits mit den ersten Fotos beschäftigt hatte und nun die Bestimmungsmerkmale kannte, bin ich noch einmal in den Garten, um weitere Fotos zu machen. Keine Härchen auf den Augen, aber ein tief gespaltenes 3. Hintertarsenglied. Arhopalus rusticus oder ferus? Schwierig, finde ich und bin gespannt auf Eurer Urteil. Comment: Hallo Emmemm, schwer zu sagen. Die Hintertarsen sprechen für rusticus. Die Augen weisen keinerlei Haare auf und ich denke, dass man die auf dem Foto B sehen können müsste. Das spräche halt für ferus. Wenn du kannst, stell die gleiche Anfrage, mit Verweis auf diese, erneut ein und pack ein größeres Bild der augen und eines der flügeldeckenspitzen da rein.
