On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Orchesia undulata, am 01.07.2020 an verpilztem Buchenholz am Boden in der Stuttgarter Waldau gefunden. Etwa 4,3 mm lang. Viele Grüße, Aron PS: Könnte es sich um ein Weibchen bei der Eiablage handeln? In dem Fall würde in Bild B die 0,4mm kleine Mymaridae vielleicht genau deshalb dort sitzen ;)

Comment: Moin Jaro, so eine Seitenaufnahme ist alles andere als hilfreich bei der Bestimmung. Man kann praktisch keine Merkmale erkennen (Schildchen und seine Bedeckung mit Schuppen z.B.). In so fern ist es immer gut, wenn Du von Käfern für die Bestimmung eine Aufnahme von oben machst, um Habitus und Merkmale erkennen zu können. Hier sollten wir es mit Curculio glandium (Eichelbohrer) zu tun haben. Die Bestimmung ist zwar sicher, macht aber nicht glücklich. Viele Grüße, klaas
