On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.
Requests to the kerbtier.de ID team can be submitted on the request page. The answered requests are published here shortly (currently 4 hours on average) after submitting.

Request: 15.08.2020 ca. 1,5-1,8 cm, kämpfend. Es lagen 3 Käfer unter der Fußmatte und zwei bekämpften sich, dieser hier blieb auf der Strecke und verendete, kann er von dem anderen vergiftet worden sein oder einen tötlichen Biss erhalten habe. Handelt es sich hier um Ocypus olens
