On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Ein sehr bunter Coniocleonus hollbergi? Ca 12 mm. Sandweg in weitläufiger Heidelandschaft, 19.08.2020.

Request: Found in Babice nad Svitavou (Moravian Karst) in a garden on 16.08.2020. Body length 6-7 mm. Curculionidae. Is ID possible, please?
Species, family:

Comment: Hi Mirax, I think that's Otiorhynchus sulcatus. It looks a little bit strange though so I'd appreciate some support from the team :). Best wishes, Corinna I add a cf. to it, there are a few remaining doubts. Regards, Christoph
