On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 22.07.2020 3,5 mm Jetzt haben die völlig ohne Not die toten Kirschbäume gefällt und ich konnte gerade noch diese Eblisia minor im Totholz finden und eine große Buprestidenlarve, mit der dann auch meine Chance auf candens dahingeht.

Comment: Hallo Tomm, ich bin geneigt, Dir zuzustimmen. Die großen Augen und die Punktur von Kopf und Halsschild sprechen eindeutig für C. interpunctatus. In Foto B sieht man aber sehr schön, dass die 9. und 10. Punktreihe der Flügeldecken sich ziemlich genau in der Mitte vereinen, was ein Merkmal von C. pauxillus ist :|. Ich würde aber die anderen Merkmale als wichtiger bewerten und bleibe bei Caenorhinus interpunctatus. Schaut da bitte nochmal jemand drüber? Danke für die Meldung.
