On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Kryp, das ist für mich Paederidus ruficollis. In Bayern kommt auch noch P. rubrothoracicus vor, der sehr ähnlich ist. Aber Flügeldecken scheinen mir hier nahezu gleich breit wie lang und auch die Behaarung der Tergite sieht schräg nach innen gerichtet aus. Ich lass ihn trotzdem noch für einen zweiten Blick stehen. Request: 20.05.2020 Valwig/Mosel Wiese auf Hochebene oberhalb Valwig, nahe Waldrand alte Laubbäume. Ein echter Beifang ist dieser Blattkäfer, der mir jetzt erst aufgefallen ist. Deshalb gibt es auch nur diese recht miserablen Ausschnitte. Ist da irgendeine weitere Eingrenzung überhaupt möglich? Herzlichen Dank im voraus für Eure Mühe und schönen Abend noch.

Request: Ha, hab ich ihn endlich auch bei uns gefunden, den Lümmel!
Lucanus cervus, Totfund vom 27.08.2020, Mischwald 402m ü. NN. Die Zangen sind 17mm lang. Der Kopf lag unter Tannen, wo ich sowas ja nun gar nicht gesucht hätte, allerdings stehen ca. 20m weiter am Waldrand in erster Reihe noch sehr alte Eichen. Viele Grüßle

irgendwie niedlich die Beiden. Was mir in diesem Jahr aufgefallen ist, diese Asiaten köpfen die Disteln und viele Insekten bedienen mit.
Die heimischen denken nicht dran es gleich zu tun. Sie sind eher auf Rainfarn zu finden.
