On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Dieser Käfer war sehr klein, etwa nur 4mm. Er erinnert mich an Vertreter der Buprestidae. Lässt er sich bestimmen?

Request: Diesen winzigen Spitzmausrüssler habe ich heute entdeckt, knapp 2 mm klein, auf dem ersten Blick würde ich Squamapion cineraceum vermuten, zumindest Braunellen wachsen dort auf dem Magerrasen, stimmt aber wahrscheinlich nicht ;-), Industriebrache, Gewässerrand, 30.08.2020
