On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Huhu! Mal wieder ein Ampedus... Gefunden auf einer Pflanze mit großen gelb gesprenkelten Blättern (leider keine Ahnung, was das war), im Wald, auf 61m üNN, am 13.04.2015. Länge 9mm. Die Flügelspitzen sind ein bisschen schwarz (zu erahnen in Foto C). Ist das wieder ein quercicola? Danke schön!

Comment: Hallo Paul, es dürfte sich um Amara familiaris handeln, eine unserer häufigen Amara Arten. Etwas irritierend sind die dunklen Knie - vielleicht liegts an der Belichtung. Ähnlich wäre noch Amara lucida (am Bild schwierig von familiaris zu unterscheiden, die Halsschildvorderwinkel sollten stumpfer sein) oder Amara anthobia (hat i.d.R.
