On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 08.10.2020; Ampedus erythrogonus im hohen Gras; Moorrandwald. Hatte ja heute mit vielem gerechnet, aber nicht mit einem Elateriden in der Vegetation... im Totholz hab ich die letzten Tage immer mal wieder einen roten Ampedus gefunden, aber der saß heute schön in der Sonne. Bleibt jetzt die Frage, ob die Art so spät im Jahr noch aktiv ist oder das Exemplar durch das sonnige Wetter nach draußen gelockt wurde... gemessen 5,5mm.
