Request: Cerylon ferrugineum? Zwei sich paarende Käfer hingen irgendwie an der Seite eines Baumschwamms. Ich weiß nicht, ob das für sie normal ist, aber ich habe noch nie zuvor gesehen, dass Käfer sich mit den Unterseiten einander zugewandt paaren. Kurios, vermutlich eher ein Unfall? Ca. 2,2mm. 29.04.2020

Comment: Hallo zimorodek, geschlüsselt und bestätigt als Cerylon ferrugineum. Die beiden in Fotos B und C haben sich halt ganz doll lieb :D. Im Ernst, ich habe auf die Schnelle nichts finden können, was auf ein besonderes Paarungsverhalten der Käferchen schließen lässt. Vermutlich also tatsächlich ein Un- oder Zufall. Vermutlich handelt es sich um N. vespillo, aber um es ganz sicher zu sagen, müsste man die Form der Hinterschienen besser beurteilen können (gekrümmt oder nicht).
