On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Felix, das ist wahrscheinlich Polydrusus cervinus. Etwas unsicher macht mich die wenig beschuppte Stirn, die ein Merkmal von P. pilosus ist. Wobei das ganze Tier sehr abgeschrubbelt aussieht, kann also auch daran liegen... Aber P. cervinus sollte gelbe Knie an den Vorderbeinen haben, und da sieht man zwar ein bisschen was in Foto B, aber nee, das ist mir zu unsicher, sorry :). Viele Grüße, Corinna

Request: Noch einmal eine "Leiche aus dem Keller": 20.06.2018, in Spinngewebe am Boden eines Eimers aus einem Schuppen, der draußen dann bei einem Regenguss ein wenig mit Wasser gefüllt wurde. Erst da wurde ich auf den Käfer aufmerksam. Länge des erhaltenen Hinterleibs ca. 1,5 cm. Mir scheint es sich um einen Bockkäfer zu handeln, am ehesten um Rhagium bifasciatum. Ob das die richtige Identifizierung ist? Vielen Dank für kriminalistische Unterstützung!
