On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo zusammen, dieses Tier saß unter der Rinde einer umgestürzten großen Eiche im Mooswald bei Freiburg-Landwasser. Länge schätze ich auf 12 mm. Heute, 16.12.2020, wahrscheinlich wird es bei Ampedus sp. bleiben, oder? VG Siggi

Diesen Aphodius hab ich heute im Garten aus einem Wasserfass gefischt. Nach 1 Minute in der Sonne flog er putzmunter davon. Gemessene Länge 6mm. Danke und VG von der Ruhr
