On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Epuraea ocularis. Nicht ganz so zahlreich wie E. imperialis, aber auch diese schönen Käfer waren an faulenden Äpfeln häufig. Ca. 3mm. 23.09.2020

Request: Quedius semiobscurus. An Maiskolbenüberresten am Feldrand, schwer zu messen, aber für einen Raphirus groß, so 9-10mm vielleicht, sicher nicht viel kleiner. Mit dem Schlüssel kommt man (erstaunlicherweise bei diesen Bildern) ziemlich bequem zu dieser Art. Das Schildchen ist punktiert und mit Pubeszenz, die Tergite III-V haben keine Eindrücke, das dritte Fühlerglied ist länger als das zweite. Q. paradisianus ist es wohl kaum, da die Art nicht in der Ebene vorkommt und auch vom Nordrhein nicht bekannt ist. 25.09.2020

Request: Hier tippe ich auf Cryptocephalus aureolus. In den Ausschnitten in Bild C habe ich versucht, den Hinterrand der Vorderbrust abzulichten, mit mäßigem Erfolg, da sind immer ein paar Strubbelhärchen im Weg. Ich meine aber, der Rand sei mehr oder weniger gerade abgestutzt, nicht seitlich gezähnt. Länge 7mm, gefunden auf Butterblume, Wiese am Biesberg, am 09.05.2020. Vielen lieben Dank für die Mühe :).
