On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 21.01.2021, ca. 3-4 mm, Borkenkäfer, kann man an Hand des Fraßmusters den Käfer bestimmen? Unter Rinde habe ich mehrere Käfer gefunden, einzeln stehender Birnbaum, Feldflur, abgebrochener morscher Ast, 10°, leichter Regen, Totfund, die Larven an den Enden der Gänge war noch aktiv.

Request: Corticaria longicornis (Corticaria abietorum). Die Art, die hier C. longicornis heißt, ist C. aphictoides. Das fotografierte Tier sollte in der Kerbtiernomenklatur C. abietorum heißen. Die Bestimmung habe ich Wolfgang Rücker zu verdanken. Auf gelagertem Nadelholz, ca. 2,0mm. 07.09.2020
