On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Anommatus duodecimstriatus. Eine besondere Begegnung! In einem Spinnennetz sah ich einen Käfer, der sich daraus zu befreien versuchte. Da ich fast nur die Unterseite sehen konnte, konnte ich ihn schwer identifizieren, aber es war wohl ein Melinopterus oder Nimbus. Er konnte schnell aus eigener Kraft dem Netz entkommen und fiel auf den Boden. Ich wollte einmal nachsehen, ob ich ihn dort fotografieren könnte, fand ihn jedoch nicht wieder. Aber es erwies sich trotzdem als glückliche Fügung, denn ich sah diesen schönen Anommatus dort einfach so herumlaufen, was diese Käfer ja nun nicht ständig tun. Ca. 2,0mm, 09.10.2020

Request: Curculio glandium? Die Art hatte ich noch nie so spät im Jahr getroffen. Man sieht dem Käfer auch an, dass er etwas durchgemacht hat. An einem Waldweg, ca. 5,5mm. 09.10.2020
