On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo André, den halte ich eher für einen stattlichen Cryptocephalus pygmaeus. Die Beinfarbe scheint zum Teil gelblich, und auch das viele Gelb im Gesicht spricht für ein Männchen von C. pygmaeus. Da darf noch jemand zweites einen Blick drauf werfen. Viele Grüße, Corinna OK!

könnt Ihr mir zu diesem ca. 8 mm langen Schnellkäfer etwas sagen, den ich am 01.06.2019 beobachtet habe? Eure KI war da etwas ratlos und meinte in Bezug auf Agriotes obscurus 2% Übereinstimmung. Aber das ist für mich noch das am ehesten Passende. Bin gespannt, was Ihr dazu sagen werdet.
