On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo, 24.02.2021, Hauswand am Wehr in Kusel Diedelkopf, hier war ich vor 2 Tagen schon einmal und habe einen grün
schimmerten Baris aufgenommen. Nachdem ich gesehen habe , dass man weitere Bestimmungsmerkmale zur Artbestimmung braucht, war ich heute noch einmal da und da waren mindestens 10 dieser Käfer unterwegs. Es ist gar nicht so einfach brauchbare Bilder von der Halsschildunterseite aufzunehmen, ich hoffe, Bild B reicht, um Baris coerulescens festzumachen?
