On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo coloniensis, bestätigt als Brachysomus hirtus, man kann eindeutig die zweizipfeligen Schuppen erkennen. Was für ein schöner Fund, und die erste Fotomeldung der Art hier auf Kerbtier. Die Käferchen sind nicht nur ziemlich selten, sondern auch schwer zu finden, da sie sich meist in der Laubstreu aufhalten. Glückwunsch und danke für die Meldung :). Viele Grüße, Corinna

Request: 28.02.2021 Wollte sehen, was schon aktiv ist und habe Nachts (21:00 Uhr) auf dem Rückweg einige Alteichen abgeleuchtet. Da Nacht und alles in Bodennähe alles was jetzt kommt miese Bilder und alle Größen geschätzt. Ca. 4 mm diverse hiervon, die sich sobald vom Licht erfasst fallen gelassen haben (Grrr!!!) an der ältesten und größten geschädigten Eiche. Einen hab ich so halbwegs getroffen und angesichts des Vs auf dem Halsschild und der länglichen Form würde ich mal sagen ein Weibchen von Ptinus fur. Da war aber noch eine andere Ptinus Art (Subpilosus vermutlich) von der ich aber aus selbigem Grund keinerlei brauchbare Bilder habe
