On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo mmk, das ist wahrscheinlich Anthonomus humeralis, wobei ich A. pomorum nicht gänzlich ausschließen kann. Viele Grüße, Heike A. humeralis ist möglich, ich kann wiederum A. pedicularius nicht ausschließen :). Ich glaube, wir lassen es hier lieber bei Anthonomus sp., denn Perspektive und Farbqualität sind beide etwas ungünstig für die Gattung ;). LG Corinna

Request: Funddatum: 05.03.2021; Länge der Larve: ca. 5 cm; Fundort: Stuttgart-Süd, von der Karl-Kloß-Straße kommend auf Straße zum Eingang des Dornhaldenfriedhofs rechts am Wegrand Stammstücke einer frisch gefällten Esche mit großen Mulmhöhlen. In einer angeschnittenen Mulmhöhle befindet sich eine teilweise zerquetschte Larve, ein Brustschild und Kotpellets; Art: Nach Rücksprache mit einem Spezialisten für xylobionte Käfer handelt es sich um Protaetia aeruginosa.
