On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 229.03.2021, leider habe ich keine exakte Länge von diesem Rugilus. 5mm, mehr kann ich nich bieten. Erstes Fühlerglied und Mittellinie sind gleichbreit, da ist similis naheliegend. Ansonsten geht es zu mixtus bei
dem Breiten/Längenverhältnis der Fühler/Fußglieder. Gefunden am Holzlagerplatz am Waldrand. LG, Tomm

bin mir nicht ganz sicher, wird wohl wieder Meligethes sp. sein. Gefunden am 03.04.21 an Blüten von Osterglocken. Geschätzte Größe 2-3 mm.

Request: 04.04.2021 unter der Borke einer Fichte? (komplett entnadelt) zusammen mit Borkenkäfern, gemessene Länge (ohne Kopf & Antennen) 4 mm. Achtung, beim ersten Bild sind doe Farben durch die kräftige Beleutung zu hell rötlich-braun, bei den anderen beiden passt es. Ich habe noch mehr Bilder gemacht, falls Details (welche?) fehlen...

Der guckt so provokant harmlos, weil er weiß, dass er wieder mal davonkommt: Sitona lepidus oder puncticollis - einer von den beiden ist's. Die Flauschigkeit des Tierchens verdeckt hier erfolgreich die wichtigen Bestimmungsmerkmale auf Stirn und Flügeldeckenspitzen, wie so oft ;). Viele Grüße, Corinna
