Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Auf Foto B sieht man sehr schön, dass die Halsschildhöcker nicht ganz außen am Rand sitzen, sondern ein wenig nach innen gerückt sind. Das schließt den selteneren S. cardui aus, der ansonsten recht ähnlich ist, wenn auch etwas größer (ab 3,7mm). Beide Arten entwickeln sich an Mohn. Danke für die Meldung.
