On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Hallo zusammen.
Größe ca. 15mm, Habitat Mischwald, überwiegend Kiefern. Zuerst dachte ich an eine grünliche Farbvariante von Anoplotrupes stercorosus, aber mir passt auch die Punktierung des Halsschildes nicht, sie wirkt dichter und feiner.

Request: 02.05.2021, 5 mm geschätzt. Ließ sich auf dem Gehweg von der Sonne wärmen, von Einzelhäusern und Gärten gesäumte ruhige Straße unter alten Eichen. Die KI hat ihn trotz des extra für sie gedrehten Fotos (C) nicht erkannt, und ich finde ihn unter euren Fotos auch nicht. Mit der Gattung bin ich mir sicher: Aphodius, aber welcher?
