On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo Christoph, die Donacia sp. 08.05.2021 von Delling (Anfrage #258868) hatten WolfgangL und ich unabhängig von einander als D. simplex geschlüsselt.
Welche Art macht dir wegen Verwechslungsmöglichkeiten noch Kopfzerbrechen, vulgaris? Anbei noch ein Foto von Wolfgang und zwei Fotos von mir in der Hoffnung, dass man in diesen Perspektiven die Verjüngung der Flügeldecken besser einschätzen kann.

Request: Am 11.05. hatte ich einen Mistkäfer falsch als Trypocopris vernalis bestiimt. Ist dies denn nun ein Frühlingsmistkäfer? Jedenfalls hat er deutlich mehr Punkte auf dem Halsschild und weniger reglemäßig auf den Flügeldecken. Gefunden am 18.05.2008 am Hundsheimer Berg.
