On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Liebes Käferteam, 14.05.2021, bei Arnex (Kanton Waadt, ca. 520m ü.M.), auf Weg zwischen Reben und Wiese, ein Laufkäfer, ca. 10 mm. Wenn der deutliche Einschnitt in der Mitte des Halsschildhinterrandes nicht wäre, würde ich den wegen der Beinfärbung für einen Harpalus, evt. tardus halten, so wie das zweite Exemplar vom gleichen Fundort, das auf Foto C zu sehen ist und bei dem ich glaube, dass es sich trotz Halsschild um dieselbe Species handelt. Ein deformierter Harpalus tardus oder doch etwas anderes? Liebe Grüße und Danke für die Bestimmungshilfe
