On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Roland, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Cryptocephalus, neben ocellatus kämen unter anderen flavipes oder ein nitidus-Weibchen in Frage. Der Trick für die Bestimmbarkeit liegt bei denen darin, dass man mindestens noch eine Frontalaufnahme macht, um eventuelle Gesichtsfleckenmuster zu erkennen. Viele Grüße, Heike

Comment: Hallo Marek, das ist entweder Curculio venosus oder Curculio pellitus. Schwierig, denn der Schuppenkamm ist grenzwertig. Und obwohl ja eigentlich der Hinterschenkelzahn in Foto B super abgelichtet ist, kann ich seine Form doch nicht beurteilen, weil wie so oft die Härchen im Weg sind :(. Gibt es weitere Meinungen? Comment: Hallo Berliner Käfer, den halte ich eher für Otiorhynchus tenebricosus, aber da darf nochmal jemand drüberschauen, der sich mit Rüsselkäfern auskennt ;). Viele Grüße, Corinna Ich setz ein cf. dazu. Denn nach Fotos A und B würde ich zustimmen, Foto C sieht dagegen nach niger aus. Ich denke auch, das sind verschiedene Tiere, richtig?
