On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Sehr selten hier im MTB,erst 2 mal gesehen.

Comment: Hallo BUG, das ist ein Männchen von Ctenicera pectinicornis. Bei den Ctenicera-Männchen sind die Fühler immer mit langen Lamellen (gekämmt), bei den Weibchen nur gesägt. Bei C. pectinicirnis ist das 3. Fühlerglied als Lamelle ausgezogen, aber kurz, nicht länger als die Rücksenseite des Fühlerglieds. Danke für die Meldung. LG, Christoph

Request: 30.05.2015 ca. 5 mm (vielleicht auch 6 war zu schnell weg) das muss eigentlich ein Pochkäfer so wie Ptilinus sein, bloss ich finde den richtigen nicht. Saß mit 7 anderen Pochkäfern (alle bereits hier bestimmt) auf unserer Rutsche

Comment: Hallo Karl, bestätigt als Melanotus sp. Hier kommen drei recht ähnliche Arten in Frage: Melanotus brunnipes, M. castanipes und M. rufipes. Wenn Du eine Aufnahme der Unterseite hast, könnte man eine Art (brunnipes) ggf. ausschließen. LG, Christoph

Request: Den Käfer habe ich im NSG Littfeld am 08.05.2015 gefunden. Höhe 384 m. Körperlänge 15-20 mm. Er saß auf Gras. Neben zwei Teichen gibt es dort Magerwiesen. Feuchtgebiete, Bäume in unmittelbarer Nähe der Fundstelle. Birken, Espen, Eichen, Obstbäume, Fichten.
Meiner Meinung nach könnte es sich um Ctenicera pectinicornis handeln.

Request: 30.05.2015 auf Schotterweg neben Wiese. 490m üNn. Ca.5mm. Wegen der großen Augen und charakteristischen Flügeldecken komme ich zu Notiophilus. Wegen der gänzlich schwarzen Beine bleibe ich bei N. aesthuans hängen. Stimmts? Leider ist er voller kleiner Steinchen/Sand. Danke!
