On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

For Belgium it's very rare and very local. I don't know what the status in Germany is for this beetle.

Comment: Hallo AndreF, das ist eventuell Cleopus pulchellus. Aber da er ziemlich abgeschrubbelt ist, kann ich den normalerweise lang beborsteten C. solani nicht ausschliessen. Man kann die beiden noch über die Form des Halsschilds unterscheiden, aber dazu braucht man leider eine Aufnahme von senkrecht oben. Viele Grüße, Corinna

Comment: Hallo KP, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Baris. Irgendwie passt nix. Zur gesamten Punktierung passt zwar B. chlorizans sehr gut, nur ist der nicht schwarz :(. Der hätte nen kupfrigen Rüssel und wäre ansonsten grünmetallisch. Schade, dieser Rüssler ist so anbetungswürdig schön, dass ich ihn gern bestimmt hätte. Mal schauen, ob jemand eine bessere Idee hat.
