On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Species, family:
Cerambyx scopolii
Cerambycidae
Comment: Hallo Butz, bestätigt als Cerambyx scopolii. Danke für die Meldung. Grüßle vom Bodensee, Oliver

Request: Found on 31.05.2015 in Moravian Karst (Babice nad Svitavou) on a clearing in a mixed forest about 480 m a.s.l. Size approx. 12 mm.
Species, family:
Amara nitida
Carabidae
Comment: Hello Mirax, interesting bug. It's an Amara species, perhaps Amara nitida. One can see the scutellar pore. Within the subgroup of these Amara's, A.similata, A.ovata, and A.montivaga look different, A.saphyrea and A.anthobia have yellow legs. There remains little doubt, however.
Best regards, Oliver

LG, Christoph
