Comment: Hallo postTH, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Anaspis. Von denen sind viele Arten recht farbvariabel, so findet sich unter anderem bei A. thoracica der Hinweis, dass die rote Färbung sowohl auf die Flügeldecken als auch auf die Unterseite der Tiere übergreifen kann und sogar vollkommen rötliche Exemplare bekannt sind. Request: 24.6.2021; Nähe Ascoli Piceno; zuerst hab ich sie bei der Kopulation überrascht, dann noch separate Fotos des Männchens und Weibchens. Die Größe habe ich in meiner Hektik nicht geschätzt, aber es könnten fast 2 cm gewesen sein. Beste Grüße, Konrad

Request: Waldrand nordwestlich Stephanshausen, 25.06.2021, unter Pferdekot, Größe 25 mm. Nach der eher gestreckten Körperform würde ich einen Geotrupes vermuten. Für G. spiniger fehlt mir die Lücke in der Punktierung, so dass bei sieben Flügeldeckenstreifen Geotrupes stercorarius bliebe - sicher fühle ich mich hier aber gerade nicht...
