On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Heja, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Sibinia. Ich glaube, S. femoralis kommt bei uns gar nicht vor, wobei ok, Bayern Süd wäre denkbar, denn die Art ist südlich verbreitet. Aber eine der anderen Arten ist wahrscheinlicher, nur komme ich an den Fotos nicht weiter, sorry. Viele Grüße, Corinna

Request: Hallo Käferfreunde, mitten im alten Eichenbestand des Bamberger Haines saß plötzlich diese seltene Schönheit (wir waren´s nicht, ehrlich!). 27.06.2021, geschätzte 90 mm groß und auffallend schwer. Das kann doch nur Lapiscoccinella dummgrinsii sein, oder? Kurze Strecken kann er verdammt gut fliegen, landet dann aber auch ziemlich flott wieder. Liebe Grüße
