On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo, liebes Team,
wieder mal eine unmögliche Anfrage von mir. Sorry. Kann man anhand dieses - auch noch schlecht fotografierten - Fragments noch irgendetwas erkennen? Gefunden in einer alten Kiesgrube bei Lüneburg am 02.04.2015. So wie es da lag, hatte das Fragment eine Länge von 12 mm.

Request: Diese Helophorus spec. (??) "besiedeln" jedes Jahr unsere Zink-Badewanne, die fürs Gießwasser neben der Dachrinne steht. Anfangs wollte ich sie noch vor dem Ertrinken retten..;o)) Der Regen heute Morgen hat sie allesamt weggespült. Ich hoffe doch, sie kommen wieder. Größe zwischen 2 und knapp 4 mm, Aufnahmen vom 07.06.2015. Gestern waren es zwischen 30 und 40 Stück. Wär schön, wenn Ihr die Art rausbekommen könntet, ich kann mich nicht netscheiden zwischen griseus und nubilus... oder sind es am Ende beide?

Request: Am 7.6.2015 aus einem der über 250 Ameisenlöwen-Trichter in unserem Garten "gerettet", da der Ameisenlöwe entweder satt war, oder kein Interesse hatte... 8-10mm.
Phosphaenus hemipterus, damit wohl die zweite Glühwurmart in unserem Garten... der Artname weist ja schon auf eine Ähnlichkeit mit den Kurzflüglern hin, für den ich das Tierchen erst gehalten habe... aber dank Eurer Seite konnte ich ihn wohl richtig bestimmen... (?)
