View answered requests for beetle ID

On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given. Requests to the kerbtier.de ID team can be submitted on the request page. The answered requests are published here shortly (currently 3 hours on average) after submitting.

Comment:
In Deutschland RL 3. Cooler Fund, selber noch nie live gesehen! LG, Christoph

Hi Bashdar, this is a Trichodes from the so called apiarius group, consisting of T. olivieri, crabroniformis, apiarius and longissimus. I think it is Trichodes longissimus, but some residual uncertainty remains, as I'm not an expert for the fauna of Iraq. Best regards, Christoph
