On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 18.06.2015 3 mm Feldweg. Könnte Olibrus bicolor sein
Species, family:
Olibrus sp.
Phalacridae

Is it a Baris sp.?
Smaller then 1 cm.
Species, family:

Comment: Hi Döw, this should be Malvaevora timida (formerly Baris timida). To my knowledge the only species of Baridinae that develps on Malvaceae. Habitus and characteristic structure of the elytral punctation fit very well. Best regards, Michael

Otiorhynchus niger würde so aussehen!? LG Birgit
Species, family:
Otiorhynchus cf. tenebricosus
Curculionidae
