View answered requests for beetle ID
|
On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hello. 17.5.2015, Slovakia, 200m, size ca 10 mm. Thank you. Regards, Karol.
Species, family:
Lamiinae sp.
Cerambycidae
Comment: Hi Karol, this longhorn beetle drives me nuts! The antenna are black-white which is typical for Agapanthia, but the narrow pronotum does not fit well to A. cardui. The overall habitus reminds of Stenostola, but the antennae won't fit. In this case we can just determine the subfamily Lamiinae. Sorry & best regards, Christoph

Species, family:
Anastrangalia sanguinolenta

LG, Christoph
