On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 12.08.2021 ca. 20h30. Auf echter Kamille. Brachliegender Feldstreifen mit Wildblumen/Kräutern.
Größe nur ca. 2mm. Mit dem bloßen Auge eher ein schwarzer, als blauer Käfer. Die Bildnachbearbeitung lässt ihn blauer erscheinen, als in natura.
Ich traue mir als Laie hier eine Bestimmung nicht zu. Chrysomelidae ?? Dort gibt es einige Arten, die vielleicht mit Größe, Form und Farbe passen...
Darf ich noch einmal um eure Hilfe bitten? Danke dafür.

Request: (12.08.2021 / H 106 m üNN / KL etwa 10 mm geschätzt) Leptinotarsa decemlineata.
Rheinauengebiet; an Bewuchs in Uferzone eines Teichs, der teils von Damm mit Wiese, teils von feuchtem Laubwald umgeben ist.
Keine Kartoffelnpflanzen weit und breit; bittersüssen Nachtschatten gibt es allerdings anbei, den verspeisen sie laut Wikipedia auch.
