On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Gefunden am 27.8.2021 auf Feldweg neben Kartoffelacker in der Lobau nahe 1220 Essling. Länge circa 6 mm, sehr schnell. KI hilft mir nicht weiter. Läßt sich die Art bestimmen? Danke und viele Grüße Rudi

Request: 27.08.21: Einige Käfer auf dem Unland des ehemaligem Betonplattenwerkes in geschlossenen Dolden der wilden Möhre. Größe gemessen 7 bis 9 mm. US rötlich. Farbwahrnehmung wie im Bild: sehr dunkelbraun bis schwarz. Datum weicht ab - aber es war gestern und meine Bildeigenschaften zeigen auch 27.08! Ophonus rufibarbis? Gruß Frugge
