On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Volker B., hier ist Du in der falschen Familie unterwegs. Das Kerlchen gehört in die Anthicidae (Blumenkäfer) und wird wg. seines Haldschildfortsatzes (der auf Deinem Bild ein bissl an einen Rüssel erinnert) Notoxus monocerus genannt.

Comment: Hallo Wolfgang, das ist Oreodytes septentrionalis. Eine rheophile Gebirgsart, die in der Isar gute Vorkommen besitzt. Generell eine nur lokal verbreitete Art und ein schöner Fund. Der ertse dieser Art auf kerbtier.de! Verwechslungsgefahr besteht mit anderen Arten der Gattung, sowie mit Nebrioporus, Scarodytes und oberflächlich mit manchen Hygrotus. Danke für die Meldung.
