On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Lupo, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Megasternum. Für die Gattung charakteristisch ist die vorn ausgerandete Vorderschiene (roter Pfeil auf Foto B). Nach aktuellem Kenntnisstand kommen bei uns zwei Arten in Betracht: Megasternum concinnum und M. immaculatum. Die sicherste Trennung gelingt anhand eines Genitalpräparats bei Beachtung der Paramerenform. Als andere Trennungsmerkmale werden Schildchenform und Hintertarsenlänge angegeben, auch die Form. Ich traue mir das jedoch höchstens unter dem Bino mit sicherem Vergleichsmaterial zu, am Foto leider nicht. Viele Grüße, Daniel
