On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo! Ebensee ~460m üNN. An der Hausmauer entdeckt. 2,0mm abgemessen. Ich vermute einen Scymnus ferrugatus, da das Abdomen rot gefärbt war. Leider gelang mir davon kein Foto. 08.12.2021. Danke fürs Bestimmen + LG, Lozifer.

Request: 7.6.21, Hier noch einen aus dem Sommer. Beim Durchschauen viel mehr der auf, weil er einen recht kurzen schwarzen Streifen hat. Nachgeschaut, welche Bestimmungsmerkmale sonst noch vorhanden sind habe ich dann die Borsten angeschaut. Sehen mir kurz und abstehend aus. Also doch Strophosoma capitatum? Ich hab auch noch überlegt, wo es denn Calluna geben könnte in der Nähe und direkt nebenan ist eine Gärtnerei oder sowas. Da müsst ihr trotzdem nochmal kritisch draufschauen.
