On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Dorcatoma substriata, ein Weibchen. Boris Büche hat zugestimmt und angemerkt, dass die etwas weniger als bei ähnlichen Arten abstehende Behaarung ein Bestimmungsmerkmal ist. Ich hatte eher auf die Punktierung und Fühler geschaut. Auf Baumpilzen bei der Eiablage. Ca. 2,2mm. 30.08.2021

Request: Scaphidema metallicum. Also in dem Fall war ich mir schon beinahe sicher, A. Zaitsev hat die Bestimmung dankenswerterweise ebenfalls bestätigt. Erstaunlicherweise konnte ich nirgends Fotos der Larve dieser häufigen Art finden. Das heißt sicher nicht, dass es keine gibt, aber ich hätte doch gedacht, dass sie nicht schwer zu finden sein können. Auf Totholz, ca. 4,9mm. 30.08.2021
