On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Michael, das sollte Otiorhynchus sulcatus sein, auch wenn er etwas ungekämmt aussieht. Und unter der Voraussetzung, dass die Länge etwas überschätzt ist, die Art wird bis 10,5mm lang - wobei man bei Rüsselkäfern stets die Länge von den Augen bis zum hinteren Körperende misst, den Rüssel also nicht mitnimmt. Request: Ich schwanke bei der Bestimmung zwischen Agonum emarginatum und Agonum duftschmidi. Das Habitat passt zu beiden Arten. Beifang in einem Eimer eines Amphibienwanderzaunes. Uferbereich eines kleinen Weihers mit Verlandungszone. Schilfbereiche, Staudenfluren und Wiesen im Umgriff. Allerdings kein Au- bzw. Bruchwald. A. duftschmidi laut "Die Käfer Baden-Württembergs aber nur im Südwesten. Somit tendiere ich für A. emarginatum. 9mm, 2022-04-06. Vielen Dank vorab bei der Mithilfe bei der Bestimmung.
