On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Dune buggy, auch das ist der allgegenwärtige Agabus bipustulatus. Achte auf die ganz feine Längsmaschung der Flügeldeckenoberseite. Die hat in der Form bei uns nur A. bipustulatus sowie A. solieri (boreoalpin, kaum unterhalb 1.500 m) und A. striolatus (seltene Art, bleibt aber mit max. 7,5 mm kleiner). Danke für die Meldung. Comment: Hallo Manfred, das ist wahrscheinlich Ilybius chalconatus oder eine der nah verwandten Arten der chalconatus-Gruppe (neglectus, montanus). Der angedeutet Bronzeglanz (siehe Lichtreflexion) und das mir verdunkelt erscheinende Fühlerendglied sprechen für chalconatus. Die Arten der chalconatus-Gruppe wurden früher zur Gattung Agabus gestellt, insofern lagst du mit deiner Vermutung gar nicht so verkehrt. Viele Grüße, Daniel
