On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Diesen Käfer habe ich heute am Rand eines kleinen Wäldchens entdeckt. Die Größe war ca. 30-40mm (siehe auch das Vergleichsfoto). Ich vermute eine Larve eines Ocypus sp. Ist es bestimmbar? Viele Grüße Andreas

Request: Hallo, 18.04.2022, als ich heute am Morgen aufgebrochen bin, habe ich noch überlegt, ob dieser Käfer hier am Rande des Truppenübungsplatzes Baumholder vorkommen könnte und dann sitzt da wirklich ein Trox perlatus vor meinen Füßen. Nollkopf bei Rathsweiler (südexponierter Halbtrockenrasen mit Felsgrus) : (KI: Trox perlatus, 27%, Rang 1). Auch wenn es hier im Südwesten wohl einen Verbreitungsschwerpunkt gibt, ist es wohl ein neues MTB. Vielen Dank und LG
