On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Sicher gehen die nur mit einem Foto der Unterseiet, auf dem man die Vorderbrust gut sieht, oder dem männlichem Genital, weil alle alle von oben oder von der Seite sichtbaren Merkmale zu variabel sind. Ein genereller Tip an alle: bitte dunkle Käfer nicht auf weißem Untergrund fotografieren, oder, wenn unvermeidlich, die Belichtung als spot auf dem Käfer messen, und nicht übers ganze Bild integrieren lassen. Bei des ansonsten unterbelichteten Bildern gehen sonst wesentliche bestimmungsrelevante Merkmale verloren. Viele Grüße, Michael
