On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo, ca. 3-4mm, gefunden am 02.05.2022 im Wohngrundstück in 01896 Lichtenberg. Bei Beobachtung eines Insektenhotels fiel dieser kleine Käfer auf. Ich würde einen Trogoderma sp. vermuten. Lässt sich die Art bestimmen?

Ein Päckchen dreier aneinanderhängender Käfer (wie können die sich da noch in der Luft halten?) ist an mir vorbeigetaumelt, dann auf Jeohannisbeere gelandet. Wo 3 sind, war wohl einer zuviel, es verblieben zwei. Maikäfer/Melolontha? Zeit würde ja passen und bei mir gibt es einige davon. VG, Esther
